Intergalactic Council-Emergency Session (10 points)
As representative for the Time Lords of Gallifrey, you have been chosen for a seat on the Intergalactic Council which is being called to an emergency session to discuss the latest threat to the universe. It seems, Doctor, that your old friends, the Daleks, are mounting another invasion, and it is your wisdom that the Council seeks before pursuing their next course of action. As I have told you many times, it is to the past that you must look for the answers you seek. Below you will find two different courses of action. The video footage advocates your more ruthless nature, the quote your more merciful one. Here are the facts as we know them:
1. The Daleks will invade a planet inhabited by humanoid creatures who pose no threat to the galaxy, but who are a relatively small species.
2. If you choose to mount a counter-attack, weapon technology on this planet is such that the invading Dalek forces would be totally annihilated, but so would the planet itself.
3. If you choose NOT to engage the Daleks, they have agreed to leave the planet intact, but will take 1/3 of the population as slaves.
Here are your options, Doctor. Choose wisely and present your argument for your particular choice to the Council. Hurry, there is no time to lose!

[The Daleks have cornered the Doctor]
The Doctor: You really wanna think about this. 'Cause if I activate this signal, every living creature dies.
Dalek Emperor: I am immortal.
The Doctor: Do you wanna put that to the test?
Dalek Emperor: I want to see you become like me. Hail the Doctor, the great exterminator!
The Doctor: I'll do it!
Dalek Emperor: Then prove yourself, Doctor! What are you? Coward or killer?
The Doctor: [hesitates, then finally steps away] Coward. Any day.
Dalek Emperor: Mankind will be harvested because of your weakness.
The Doctor: And what about me? Am I becoming one of your angels?
Dalek Emperor: You are the heathen. You will be exterminated!
The Doctor: Maybe it's time.
This is an example of your more merciful nature.
Fight Simulation Training (10 points)
Words are cheap, Doctor, but it is time to put your training to the test. I would ask you to meet me in the adjacent room next to the kitchen which has been temporarily converted into a Training Room for our purposes. I have the capability of uploading a real-life simulation program, which will be activated at your command. Please inform me as to which enemy of yours discussed in the lesson YOU feel is the MOST DANGEROUS, and that is the one you will face in battle. For my records, I will also need your reasoning as to why you choose this particular enemy, and of course, your plans to defeat them. Good luck, Doctor!
Quantum Theory (10 points)
Though considered one of your worst enemies, it is undeniable that you and the Master share many similar traits. He was once considered your best friend, and numerous times both had the opportunity to kill the other but chose not to take it. He sacrificed himself for you, and you mourned for him. Is this mere childhood sentimentality or something more? Is it perhaps that the Master represents the 'worst' of the Doctor and the Doctor the 'best' of the Master-two sides of the same coin, and one can truly never be whole without the other? And given what we know of both, in reality, is there really that big of a difference between them? Please head to the forum and discuss.

EXTRA CREDIT (30 points maximum)
Please choose one (1) of the following options:
1. Doctor, I hope you don't mind the intrusion, but during your sleep last night, I received elevated readings in your brain scan. When I went to check on it, I received only this scrambled image. I need you to unscramble it and send it back to me for further analysis, as well as tell me what possible significance this image holds for you. This is quite urgent, as this seemed to provide a great deal of distress in your dreams and it's my duty to ensure your safety and well being.

2. No, don't touch that....DON'T PRESS THA....Doctor! You need to get a better handle on your companions. It would seem that their curiosity led them to files of your enemies. Then, they went and pressed the button and promptly deleted five files from my databanks. I can recover most of the data but I will need your assistance in filling out a file on at least one of these enemies and replacing it yourself. Pick at least one of the files from above and give me some information on that particular enemy and I will consider the matter resolved between us. Curiosity killed the cat, let's not find out what an irate TARDIS does to a curious companion.
3. New New York (or more accurately, New New New New New New New New New New New New New New New New York) has asked for your assistance. After the problem with the Sisters of Plentitude, they want their citizens to be more aware of the dangers that could come into their fine city. As such, they've asked for wanted posters that they can display on public streets, buildings, and billboards. Please select an enemy from the lesson and create such a poster for the city of New New York and then send me the digital link so that I can forward it to the Public Awareness Committee.
