The due date for this assignment is: JANUARY 15. DUE TO THIS BEING THE END OF THE TERM, THERE ARE NO EXTENSIONS AVAILABLE FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT.
The total number of points available for this assignment is 30 points.
Sonic Customization (10 points)
Even at its most basic, the sonic screwdriver is one tool that has proved invaluable to most of your past incarnations. It is not uncommon for a new regeneration to have a screwdriver tailored to their particular needs/likes. Now it is your turn. I could, of course, design one for you that would be perfectly adequate, but the since you will be the one using it, not I, Doctor, then it is only right that you should be the main designer, yes?
The task at hand, therefore, is to come up with the concept for your own personal sonic screwdriver. What will it look like physically? Will it have any special properties not yet seen? And lastly, briefly explain why you made the choices that you did and why you feel this particular design will work best for you. This can be done either via written report (75 words minimum) or graphic medium. If you choose to use graphics, remember, LINK ONLY or I will be forced to program my secret Cyberman program and DELETE.
Trial of a Time Lord (10 points)
This is not good, Doctor, not good at all. Timelines have been crossed and it seems that YOU are being placed on trial for the actions of your 11th incarnation and his companion, Amelia Pond concerning the use of physic paper. It would appear that Ms. Pond made the unfortunate error of using the paper as a credit card to go on a shopping spree in New York. Lack of funds on your part, plus your own checkered past of 'borrowing' money left the authorities far from amused. Your 11th incarnation escaped scot-free, but I have been instructed to hand you over to them for further questioning.
Using advanced reasoning skills, I have managed to convince them to allow you to argue your case on a public forum before any further action is taken. You have two courses before you:
a) Argue for the use of physic paper, despite Amy's 'mishap' and why it does more good than harm.
b) Agree with the belief that physic paper is ethically wrong and should be forbidden
Go to the Forum quickly and start talking, Doctor! These people mean business and the Prison Camp on Mars is not a pleasant place to spend the rest of your life; trust me. Oh yes, one of the men was muttering something about his fez that went missing, but I have no idea what he meant, so I cannot help you with that. Good luck.
Future Upgrades (10 points)
No, I am not turning into a Cyberman, nor is NINA. That would be impossible, actually, but that is a discussion for another day. Please fill out the survey below so that my systems may be upgraded appropriately to better assist future regenerations. Thank you, Doctor. Now I will DEL- Relax, I was only kidding!

1. In the past, you and K9 have spent many enjoyable evenings bonding over a game of chess. Being the lover of logic and puzzles that he is, he could not resist offering you a new challenge.
2. As wonderful as the tools I have shown you are, there is nothing quite like inventing one of your own to make it truly special. You are the Doctor, after all, and what better way to show off your clever inventiveness than to create something truly and uniquely yours. There is only one small problem. Your TARDIS was damaged by a falling asteroid, and you have limited supplies. There are two lockers of supplies you may choose from, and you must use all of the components in the locker you choose. You may either describe your invention in detail via written form in whatever manner you desire (story, poem, report, etc) or original graphic of your choice (drawing, photo manipulation, etc.)
Locker 1: rubber bands, spectacles, light bulb, iron pipe, teddy bear
Locker 2: bucket, book, bottle, baseball bat, kite string
3. For most of your incarnations, the chameleon circuit of the TARDIS has been broken. Good news for you is that I have managed to repair it at last. So tell me, Doctor, are you going to choose to take advantage of my good will and use the TARDIS as it was originally meant to blend in with its surroundings or are you going to stick with the more familiar police call box? Or perhaps, you will opt to disregard the TARDIS altogether and go with a vortex manipulator, since Torchwood has graciously offered you the use of one. The choice is, as always, yours. Once made, it cannot be changed, so consider it wisely and complete the following form:
